Returns & Exchanges

If for any reason you decide that you would like to return your purchase for an exchange or refund, please follow the steps below.

GENERAL RETURNS INFORMATION 

  • Please get in touch to let us know you are returning your order within 7 days of receiving the items.
  • All items should be received back to us within 28 days from shipment date.
  • Your order should be in unworn and unused condition complete with all original packaging.
  • Please include the original order invoice and your reason for returning to help us process as fast as possible.
  • All returns should be well packaged to avoid damage. Please return in the original postal packaging that you received your order in or a suitable alternative. We request that you do not use the shoe box as a form of postal packaging.
  • To protect yourselves we advise using postage with tracking and insurance. The Northampton Boot & Shoe Company is unable to accept responsibility for any returns lost or damaged in transit.
  • If returning an item from outside of the EU, we suggest you mark the parcel as 'RETURNED GOODS' very clearly so it cannot be missed. Each country will have different shipping and customs rules - For this reason, The Northampton Boot & Shoe Company cannot be held responsible for any return custom charges incurred. We also suggest that you ask your chosen couriers for advice on the above when returning, so as to avoid any unexpected costs or delays.

  • Please be aware that any returns costs are at the responsibility of the customer.
  • All orders that are returned for refund are not subject to the free Exchange offer and will be subject to a restocking fee of 5% of the order total. if you wish to exchange the item for a different size or width fitting there is no restocking fee for the returned items.

EXCHANGES

  • INSIDE THE UK - If you are returning from inside the UK and would like to exchange for a different size, colour or style, please return your parcel with the original invoice, stating the exchange details of what you would like. We will then re-ship your new product once processed through the factory, at no extra cost. Please be aware that any returns costs are at the responsibility of the customer.
  • OUTSIDE THE UK - If you are returning from outside of the UK and would like to exchange for a different size, colour or style. We offer free worldwide shipping on all footwear, we request that you place a new order through our website. This will speed up the exchange process and the new order can begin being made whilst the exchanged footwear is being shipped back to us. When we receive your returned parcel, a full refund will then be submitted against your original order. However, if you would prefer to return your original order with an exchange request for another item inside then this is also ok - We will proceed with making the new footwear once the returned footwear has been received. Please be aware that any returns costs are at the responsibility of the customer.
